Twenty eight students are shown here.</div> <bR> <div> It looks like the ones on the front row were asked to fold their hands. Seven out of nine followed directions it seems. Elmore Going and Judy Lee also joined in folding their hands. Several of the ladies have bows in their hair so most likely everyone knew the class picture was going to be taken on this day. Take a look at Elmore Going's shoes.....probably the latest style. </div> <bR> <div> Look at that expression on Elaine Crane's face.  Billy Murphy on the front row is all dressed up in a three piece suit and a tie.  We are sure that is because his mother saw to it he wore his suit.  Jack Graffham has his Navy hat on. I remember him wearing that hat for a long time.  Sheldon Meats hair looks just perfect.</div> <bR> <div> It's great to have this outstanding photograph from Hawthorne Grade School for our Class of 1957 Historical Archives. This is our first photograph from Hawthorne.
