The Ottawa High School Class of 1956 celebrated its 50th reunion Sept. 15-17, 2006. There were 59 classmates in attendence and about 100 classmates and friends had dinner at Ottawa Country Club. Pat (Griffin) Atchison, Pat (Barr) Woods and Louis Ferns were the emcees.
After touring the former junior-senior high school, now Washburn Towers, Saturday afternoon everyone went to a hospitality room at the Elks Club to visit and watch the Marais des Cygnes River Run. Before going on their way several met for breakfast at Sirloin Stockade Sunday morning.
