This is a photograph of a flood in Ottawa taken on May 16, 1898 in Forest Park. There used to be many large meetings at the park and there were some very large outstanding buildings in the park that the floods and time destroyed over the years.
This photograph is by another outstanding Ottawa photographer by the name of H. B. Paramore. He describes himself on the back of the mounting as, "The Kodak Fiend”.
